Maruti Suzuki increased by 26.90% in August 2014

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSI) accounted for 26.90% of its good sales in August. The cumulative count was 1,10776 units before the same month, compared with 87323 units.

India's largest carmaker retailed 29.30% of its cars in 98304 units last August. However, MSI's exports this month showed an increase of 10.3% over 12472 units, compared with 11305 units in the previous year.

According to the company, sales of its mini passenger cars, including Alto, A-star, wagonr and celerio, increased by 8.3% from 32019 units in August last year. And compact car sales, including swift, estilo, celerio, Ritz and dzire, were upgraded to 46759 units and 30512 units in August 2013.

This month, the company sold 20.30% of multi-purpose vehicles, including earthiga MUV and Gypsy, 5491 units, 4563 units. The company's fan sales, including Omni and EECO, reached 9990 units, up 25.6% from 7956 units last year.

The swift dzire aka dzire tour guided by the previous generation saw a 114.2% increase in demand, 114.2% per unit and 520 units at the same time. Although the only MSI product showing a negative diagram is the medium-sized car SX4 to be replaced. Compared with 348 units in August last year, its sales submerged 85.6% to only 50 units.
