Porsche unveils 2015 cayenne and Cayenne GTS ahead of Los Angeles Motor Show

German carmaker Porsche unveiled the basics and sportiness of the Cayenne SUV at the Los Angeles motor show, which will begin on November 19. The company has made several key upgrades in the exterior, interior and under the hood. The Cayenne GTS is actually equipped with a sports design package, including 20 inch alloy wheels, extended wheel arches, etc.

The front panel of the car now has a large air inlet, adding extra muscle. Other acute changes outside are ride height, which has been reduced by 20-24 mm and sports exhaust system, which is a daunting presence. The suspension system has strengthened the Porsche active suspension management system and installed excessive performance brakes to stop the SUV in a few seconds. In addition to movement changes, Bi xenon lights with LED daytime running lights will be standard.

Inside, the SUV will get a hybrid sports seat wrapped in leather and alcatara, and the headrest is the brand of GTS. In addition, the multifunctional steering wheel with paddle shifter will be used as standard equipment.

Both models will sport the same 3.6-liter V6 twin turbocharged engine, but will return different power outputs. The chassis Cayenne generates an obstacle 298bhp power supply, while the GTS model highlights the peak torque and 600nm peak torque, which are significantly improved by 18bhp and 85nm from the previous version. The engine is paired to the new 8-speed tiptronic s transmission system. The power adjustment will certainly affect the sprint time. From the basic Cayenne shooting reaching 100kmph to the top in 7.7 seconds in 7.7 seconds, the speed is 232kmph. The GTS with performance packaging has achieved the maximum speed of 262kmph in 5.2 seconds.

The new Cayenne is expected to be available in the US market in February 2015.
