Mercedes AMG reveals C 63 AMG

The new mercedes-g and saloon-63 were revealed for the first time today. Based on the aluminum and steel chassis structure of w205, the new C 63 adds a new 4.0L twin turbine engine to give it phenomenal performance. At the heart of any AMG, it's Handmade engines. Mercedes AMG C 63 uses the m177 engine - a sister unit to the m178 found in the new Mercedes AMG GT splacing 3982 CC, and is equipped with a twin turbocharger neatly packaged in the "V" of the cylinder bank and built into the car's bonnet through a special cooling pipe. C 63 generates 476bpp and 510bhp in C 63 s guise. This is also the same engine, which provides power for Mercedes AMG GT.

The German carmaker will switch from the current 5.5-litre engine to the new 4.0-litre engine as soon as possible as part of its downsizing. This will help them reduce their carbon footprint without any power reduction. The engine is based on a 2.0L AMG engine and can also power CLA 45 AMG.

Similarly, C 63 uses a unique suspension setting. At the front, it uses four-bar suspension, independent steering knuckle and wider track to improve stability, while at the rear, it uses independent mounting frame and increases negative bending. A revamped version of the AMG speedshift MCT 7-speed transmission function on the C 63 - there is now faster shift time to improve response. Each C 63 is equipped with 245 / 40 R18 (front) and 265 / 40 R18 (rear) tires, while the "model" gains 245 / 35 R19 (front) and 265 / 35 R19 (rear) tires. The new brake system uses 390 mm discs at the front and 360 mm discs at the rear, with the option of enhanced ceramic discs for track driving.
