Honda recalls the amazing driver's side airbag inflator, Brio and CR-V

Honda Motor India Limited (hcil) has officially announced the prevention of the driver's side airbag inflator in its three models. The move is part of the company's global recall about the possible incorrect assembly of the baffle in the inflator.

The company recalled 1040 units of Brio hatchbacks, 1235 units of compact sedan and 63 units of Honda CR-V, which were manufactured between September and July this year. The company will replace all defective parts free of charge at all hccer dealers in India. For this problem, the company will comprehensively contact the owner.

Customers can also check whether their cars will be covered in this campaign by submitting their 17 character alphanumeric vehicle identification number (VIN) on a special micro material created on the company's website (www.hondacarindia. Com).

The Japanese manufacturer mentioned that due to the incorrect assembly of the baffle, when the driver's side airbag is deployed in an accident or other circumstances, the pressure in the inflator may rise too much, resulting in damage to the container.
