Volvo V60 Off-Road Discovery

Expanding the off-road platform, Volvo Cars has yet to unveil the new V60 Off-Road at the 2014 La Motor show.The model combines sporty driving characteristics with its ability to boot dirty, and the new v60 Off-Road is another touring vehicle.

The iconic 5-cylinder petrol engine will do its duty across the V60 for the US and Canadian markets, where it starts first.The engine pushes out a maximum power of 250bhp and is capable of returning 12.3kmpl according to Volvo.The drive train is mated to an automatic transmission and is equipped with an all-wheel system.

In early 2015, the Volvo V60 Transnational will be available for the global market, with the basic variant offered with front-wheel drive, and the 5-cylinder D4 engine will be offered in the all-wheel-drive version.Lex Kerssemakers, Senior Vice President, Product Strategy and Vehicle Line Management, Volvo Car Country, "We are delighted to add a third true off-road model to our portfolio. The body is fitted with front and rear pads, fenders, fenders and skid plates for high clearance.The interior in the new V60 Off-Road gets black leather sports seats with unique brown thread stitching.Tall tires fitted on 18- and 19-inch wheels further add to the comfortable ride.They also help reduce road noise and add wheel protection when curbing curbs through treacherous terrain or negotiating."With a 65mm increase in ground clearance compared to the V60, the off-road rugged construction provides unparalleled control, combined with torque vectoring technology and corner traction control for an enhanced sporty driving experience.
