Bridgestone contributes Rs 10 crore to PM's relief fund

Leading tyre maker Bridgestone's Indian Armed Forces has announced an INR 1 rupee contribution to the flood relief fund for flooding and flooding in Kashmir.With this donation, Bridgestone aims to provide assistance to those affected and hopefully a speedy recovery for them.The fund will primarily be used to rebuild infrastructure destroyed during the flood.On behalf of Bridgestone, Mr Ajay Sevekari, Director HR&A, Logistics, Purchasing and its yesterday, handed the cheque to the Prime Minister's Office.

“Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all those affected by the floods,” said Mr. Kazuhiko Mimura, Managing Director, Bridgestone India PVT. “This is truly an unforeseen and unfortunate event, Bridgestone​​​ Hope can play a role in rebuilding the lives of the people of Jammu and Kashmir."

This is not new, Indian firm Honda Group contributed a sum of Rs.3 rupees for flood waste rubbish magazine and relief and recovery efforts in Kashmir.The Indian companies of the Japanese giants include - Honda Motors India Ltd., Honda Motorcycles & Scooters India Pvt Ltd., Honda Sell Power Products Ltd., Honda R&D (India) PVT.Ltd and Honda Motor India PVT.All of these contribute to the improvement and reconstruction of the destruction that has plagued the region we call "Paradise on Earth".
