Maruti Suzuki Ciaz launched on Monday

Here's guys, this is the car that almost the entire country is waiting for at the expo, and one of the biggest launches of the year, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is finally here on Monday, October 6th!Touted as the most prolific car in its category, Maruti is the fastest vehicle in the country, with a 26.3km/l (diesel) tag, beating out its closest rival, the Honda City.

The company packs plenty of power on board and wears a premium package, along with a moderately powerful, fuel-efficient motor that looks like the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is a mixed bag and appears to be a Honda City killer.Pricing will be a key factor in the fate of CIAZ, which looks promising as of now.

Adding to the Maruti Suzuki CIAZ features, the sedan gets projector headlamps and 16-inch multi-radio alloy wheels.Inside, it gets a 7-inch touchscreen' smartphone infotainment system, leather upholstery, fully automatic AC, rear distance AC taboo and more.

Talking about the engine, the CIAZ is powered by petrol and diesel engines.The CIAZ petrol takes Suzuki's K-series engine, the electric motor brings out a healthy 91BHP of maximum power and 130Nm of peak torque, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, while an automatic option can be offered at some point in the future.Petrol offers a certified fuel economy of 20.73 km/l.

Before the diesel, CIAZ got a 1.3-liter multi-jet diesel borrowed from Fiat, with a variable geometry turbo called the DDIS200.The motor produces a maximum power of 88.8 BHP, with 200Nm of maximum torque mated to a five-speed manual box only.Deliveries of the sedan will begin on Monday.
