Totally crazy Camry!Toyota purposefully built the sleeper Camry Dragster at the Sema Show (Specialty Equipment Market Association) in the state.Toyota says 'sleeper' has been used for detritus in the brand because in drag racing the term 'sleeper' has been used for vehicles that look "as harmless as possible" - meaning unwelcome.Vehicles will be on display at the SEMA show through November 4th and July 7th, and on display will tour the country in select NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) races.

The sleeper Camry Dragster features a Camry sedan skin on top of a tubular-frame chassis and rides solid-character radials using production alloys.Talking about the interior, the vehicle has fully functional stock doors and a custom interior with auto-planning number lines and impact racing seat belts.

Under the Camry Skin, the Toyota Tundra Pickup borrows the 5.7-liter 3ur-Fe V8 engine motor along with its transmission and electronics.The motor draws air through a TRD (Toyota Racing Development) supercharger, as well as a wet nitrosation system.Brutal power propels the sleeper Kang Cai to the quarter mile (nearly 400 meters) in 9.80 seconds (estimated).It also has 335/30/18 trailer tires mounted on a rear axle borrowed from the Tundra.The ear-piercing sound is produced by a magnet exhaust system.
