McLaren reveals the interior of the P1 GTR

As mentioned above, the steering wheel is from a famous F1 driven car and guess what, it comes from Lewis Hamilton's championship winning 2008 MP4-23 formula for a car.Steering wheel acquisition modes are toggled in the center, the engine start button is in the right corner, the Damping System (DRS) and Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) buttons are in the top corner and the Kitt-Sique 'Boost' switch.

The interior also boasts lightweight DTM-style seats with Motorsport six-point harness, Head and Neck Safety (HANS) approved carbon fiber seat shells and air holes.

The company will also provide one-on-one drivers with every P1 GTR owner so drivers can improve their driving skills on some of the most iconic F1 circuits in the world.Only 30 models are expected to be built in the £200 million (Rs 19.79 crore) price range.

Under the hood, the P1 GTR uses a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor that can't make more than 986bbp and 83bhp more than the regular P1.

“All tests completed results sessions or in many cases exceeded strict target sets. McLaren P1 GTR development continues to progress further with further scheduled miles for the European winter season,” company officials said.
