On June 2, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Implementation Rules for the Application of Subsidies for the Promotion ofNew EnergyVehicle Consumption in Shenzhen" (hereinafter referred to as the "Detailed Rules"), specifically mentioning "models equipped with the open source Hongmeng system and its commercial version" , the car purchase subsidy can be applied for up to 10,000 yuan per car.

What are the Hongmeng models?The first thing that comes to my mind is the AITO brand. Its models on sale include the Wenjie M5, and the Wenjie M7 is expected to be delivered within this year; the recently launched Jihu Alpha S Huawei HI version; and the Avita 11 delivered during the year...

The "Detailed Rules" introduces three types of subsidies, which are issued to individual consumers who purchase new energy cars in the Shenzhen Administrative District (New District) and have Guangdong B license plates.

Time node: The subsidy period is from May 23 to December 31 this year, the number is limited, first come first served; the application period is from July 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023, overdue will be regarded as give up automatically.

The three subsidies are as follows:

The first type of subsidy:

Use the new energy car increments that are applied for in the conventional way, or the vehicles that are registered for new car registration with updated indicators,

If the tax-included price is in the range of 100,000-200,000 yuan, the subsidy will be 5,000 yuan per vehicle; if the price is above 200,000 yuan, the subsidy will be 10,000 yuan per vehicle.

The second type of subsidy:

The incremental index of ordinary cars obtained through the special lottery activity of the Municipal Transportation Bureau is only used for the registration of new cars;

If it is used for the registration of new energy vehicles, it is limited to the purchase of vehicles with a price of 100,000 yuan or more in the Shenzhen Administrative District (New District).

Among them, the subsidy of 100,000-200,000 yuan per vehicle is 10,000 yuan per vehicle; the subsidy of more than 200,000 yuan is 20,000 yuan per vehicle.

The third type of subsidy:

The incremental index of hybrid electric vehicles obtained by relaxing the application conditions is limited to the application of "Inclusion in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's " Recommended Model Catalog for the Promotion and Application ofNew Energy Vehicles" (the fifth batch in 2022 and before), and the vehicle power battery pack "Plug-in hybrid (including extended range) cars with a total energy of ≥35kWh" new car registration.

Subsidies will be given to models equipped with the open source Hongmeng system and its commercial version, and the standard is the same as the first category of subsidies.

Wenjie M5 currently only has an extended range version. There are four models on sale, with a price range of 259,800-331,800 yuan. In May, 5,006 units were delivered, and the cumulative delivery in 87 days exceeded 10,000, creating a new brand of single-model delivery that exceeded 10,000. fastest record.
