European new energy vehicle sales list in April: Fiat 500e wins the championship, Polestar 2 rises against the trend and ranks among the top ten

According to CleanTechnica data, in April, thesales of new energy vehiclesin Europe were 158,601 units, down 36.7% month-on-month and 1% year-on-year, and the market share increased by 19%.Among them, pure electric vehicles sold 83,500 units, a year-on-year increase of 15%, with a market share of 10%; plug-in hybrid vehicles sold 75,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 14%, with a market share of 9%.

In terms of month-on-month growth, 16 models declined month-on-month in April. Hyundai Kona EV and Volkswagen ID.4 dropped the most by over 40% month-on-month. Kia Niron EV, Ford Kuga PHEV, Renault Zoe, Audi Q4 e-tron, BMW i3, The Peugeot 3008 PHEV fell by more than 30% month-on-month.
