Homegrown Mercedes-Benz EQE to debut on June 16

A few days ago, Beijing Benz officially announced that the domestic version of the Mercedes-Benz EQE will be officially unveiled on June 16.The new car is based on Mercedes-Benz's latest EVA 2.0 pure electric architecture, and is positioned as a pure electric medium and large sedan.At the same time, the first domestically produced EQE will also become the 4 millionth Mercedes-Benz vehicle produced by Beijing Benz.

Mercedes-Benz EQE Overseas Edition

The domestic version of the Mercedes-Benz EQE will continue the design of the overseas version, and the front grille adopts a closed "night star array" design.The dual-lens LED blackened headlights are integrated into the front grille, and the lower air intakes on both sides have typical Mercedes-Benz characteristics.

The appearance still maintains the elegant design of Mercedes-Benz. The full body further deepens the visual effect of the wide body. The entire roof line is very smooth. With the hidden door handle, the drag coefficient of the whole vehicle is only 0.20.In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4969/1906/1509mm and a wheelbase of 3120mm.

The interior part follows the latest design and layout of the EQ family. In addition to the basic dual-screen pictured above, it also provides an integrated MBUX Hyperscreen consisting of a full LCD instrumentation, an embedded central control screen and a co-pilot entertainment screen. The whole piece of glass is covered with a sense of technology.

In terms of power, the previously declared model is only the EQE 350, which is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 215kW on the rear axle and a peak torque of 530N m.The overseas version has a 0-60mi/h (0-96km/h) acceleration time of 5.6s, a cruising range of 660km under WLTP conditions, and can charge the battery from 10% to 80% within 31 minutes using fast charging. The power is 110kW.Using a 7.7kW householdcharging pile, it can be charged from 10% to 100% within 9.5 hours.
