HUAWEI inks license agreements with connected vehicle companies
On June 8th, the head of HUAWEI’s intellectual property department, Fan Zhiyong, said that the company’s patents have been broadly appreciated by the market. HUAWEI has signed patent authorization agreements with companies within various industries, including those in the connected vehicle field.

CPCA predicts 17% YoY drop in China’s May PV retail volume
According to the preliminary results from China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), China’s monthly retail volume of passenger vehicles (PVs) may amount to 1.354 million units in May, decreasing 17% year over year, but up 30% from the previous month. The PV retail volume from June 1st-June 5th amounted to 168,000 vehicles, edging down 5% year on year, and 47% from the week before.
