Chery Group sold 85,400 vehicles in May, a year-on-year increase of 29.7%

On June 13, Chery Group announced its May sales.In May, Chery Group sold a total of 85,380 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 29.7%.From January to May, Chery Group sold a total of 370,066 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%.

Among them, Chery Automobile sold 63,978 units in May, a year-on-year increase of 47.5%, and the cumulative sales volume from January to May was 277,838 units, an increase of 18.9% year-on-year.During the period, Chery's "big single product" strategy continued to develop, and the "global power technology flagship" Tiggo 8 PRO was officially launched on May 18, adding a new member to the Tiggo 8 champion family.It is reported that from January to May, the Tiggo 8 series contributed 62,439 units of global sales, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%.On June 8, the first model of Chery's new product series OMODA, the new-generation trendy SUV Omenda, opened for pre-sale, which is expected to boost Chery's follow-up sales performance.

The sales volume of Starway Motors in May was 3,861 units, and the global sales volume of Starway brand from January to May was 16,125 units, a year-on-year increase of 59.7%.In May, Starway Motors officially launched the Starway Lanyue 5-seat Explorer Edition, and released a new next-generation concept SUV "AtlantiX", which is regarded as the blueprint and development vane of the Starway brand's future product series. Performance deserves attention.

Jetour Motor sold 11,520 vehicles in May, up 12.3% year-on-year.It is reported that the first product of Jietu's "Kunlun" architecture, the A-class SUV - Jietu Dasheng started pre-sale on May 8, and received 14,167 orders in just one month.Since the beginning of this year, Jietu Motor has successively launched Jietu X90 Zilong, new Jietu X70S and other products. In overseas markets, Chery Group also continued its strong performance. In May, the export volume reached 27,434 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 41.1%. From January to May, Chery Group exported a total of 112,427 vehicles, an increase of 18.4% year-on-year, and continued to set a new record for the same period in history.
