The notice clarifies that in accordance with the requirements of GB 24545-2019 "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Vehicle Speed Limiting Systems",.
It is reported that GB 24545-2019 is a national mandatory standard and was released on October 14, 2019. The specific implementation time is as follows:
1) Except for Article 5.8, other technical content is only proposed for the newly-approved models, and it will be implemented from July 1, 2020, and there is no requirement for the models that have already been type-approved.
2) For clause 5.8, different transition periods are given for different models.For models that newly apply for type approval, it will be implemented from July 1, 2021; for models that have passed type approval, it will be implemented from July 1, 2022.

a) It should be ensured that the driver can be identified at the corresponding position.The corresponding position is the position where the driver is in the driving position and can move freely under the protection of the restraint system after adjustment according to the manufacturer's instructions for use.
b) The speed limit signal sign is shown in Figure 2, which shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 4094.

d) The visual signal device has a self-checking action that can be visually recognized after the vehicle is powered on.The visual signal device should be bright and eye-catching when it is lit, so that the driver can clearly observe it no matter when driving during the day or night after adapting to the ambient road lighting conditions.
