This project proposes an innovative sustainable structural battery casing for light vehicles made from a reusable and recyclable thermoplastic long-fiber compound with dual functions, namely flame retardant additives and electromagnetic shielding (EMI shielding). ) particles.

This new solution increases the vehicle's range by reducing its weight compared to the usual metal casing.In this way, the same displacement will require less energy, reducing energy costs and carbon footprint.
