Tesla relaunches EAP assisted driving service in the US for $6,000

Recently, Tesla has re-launched EAP (Enhanced Automatic Assisted Driving) in the United States, priced at $6,000.According to Tesla’s official website, EAP includes automatic assisted navigation and driving, automatic assisted lane change, automatic parking, summoning and smart summoning functions.

After upgrading FSD Beta in 2019, Tesla canceled the EAP service in the United States. Now Tesla has re-launched EAP in the United States. Some time ago, Tesla also opened the EAP purchase function in Australia, South Korea, Singapore and other regions. .In contrast, Tesla's FSD Beta is currently priced at $12,000 and can provide stronger and more comprehensive assisted driving functions in the United States, Canada and other places.In addition, Tesla plans to expand FSD to the European market this summer.

It is understood that Tesla has several assisted driving services: the full name of AP is Autopilot automatic assisted driving, which is divided into basic version of automatic assisted driving (BAP) and enhanced version of automatic assisted driving (EAP), while the full name of FSD is Full Self-Driving Computer, that is, fully autonomous driving.

Tesla's BAP, or basic automatic assisted driving function, is included with the car, including adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and lane keeping assist.

Includes all features of Basic Assisted Driving and Enhanced Autonomous Assisted Driving.In the future, it will also support: Recognize and react to traffic lights and stop signs; Automatically assist driving in city streets.
