Alternatively, cameras could detect when the driver of a self-driving car pulls out a book or magazine and automatically turn on the reading lights.If a person falls asleep, the camera can see that their eyes are closed and the lights are turned off, then use the lights to wake them up as the vehicle drives towards their destination.
